NS - you might want to check out a book

"The Grey Horse" by Richard Burridge - a bloke whose father James Burridge bred Dessie - and who ( Richard ) bought his share in the ownership of the legend for £2000.

It's a terrific down to earth story - warts and all - and one of the best sporting books I've read.

one winner and a place was a half decent day. Kicking myself that is didn't properly check the places and Hills only paid 3 putting Saint Roi out the frame at 40/1 :(

Constitution Hills time was 5 seconds quicker than the Champion Hurdle Honeysuckle's time... and 14 seconds quicker than the Boodles winner Brazil... they worked out that was 80 lengths??
